Booking a Sokudo electric scooter test ride

A test ride is the surest way to know whether an electric scooter actually fits your daily routine. At a Sokudo showroom you can feel the pickup, check how the seat and footboard suit your height, and see how the scooter behaves in real traffic — things a spec sheet can never tell you. It costs nothing, takes about 10–15 minutes, and comes with no obligation to buy.

Every Sokudo model is built around safety, including an LFP battery designed to stay stable in Indian summer heat — one reason we've had zero fire complaints. During your visit the team walks you through real-world range, charging time and the variant that fits your commute, whether it's the city-friendly Sokudo Plus or the longer-range Sokudo Acute.

For a high-speed model, carry a valid two-wheeler driving licence for the on-road ride. Booking ahead through the form above means your scooter is charged and ready when you arrive, so you spend your time riding instead of waiting.

What to check during your test ride

Make the most of those 15 minutes — here is a quick checklist of what experienced riders look for before they buy:

What to bring to the showroom

Keep it simple: a valid two-wheeler driving licence (needed for high-speed RTO models) and an ID such as Aadhaar or PAN. If you are planning to buy the same day, it helps to know your budget — use the EMI calculator beforehand so you can discuss down payment and tenure with the team on the spot. You can also compare Sokudo models in advance to shortlist one or two scooters to ride.

Test ride availability across India

Sokudo has 50+ authorised showrooms across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Uttarakhand and more, so a free test ride is rarely far away. Pick your city in the form above, or use the showroom locator below to find the dealer nearest to you, including their address, phone number and directions.

Test ride FAQs

Is a Sokudo test ride free?

Yes. Every Sokudo electric scooter test ride is completely free, with no obligation to buy. Just book a slot above and visit your nearest authorised showroom.

Do I need a driving licence for the test ride?

It depends on the model. Sokudo offers both high-speed (RTO-registered) scooters and low-speed non-RTO models. For a high-speed scooter you need a valid two-wheeler driving licence to ride on the road, so carry your original licence to the showroom. Non-RTO models don't require a licence or registration. Just let the showroom know which model you'd like to try.

How long does a Sokudo test ride take?

A test ride usually takes about 10–15 minutes — enough to check seat height, riding comfort, pickup, braking and overall feel before you decide.

Can I test ride more than one model?

Yes. If the showroom has multiple models in stock, you can compare scooters like the Sokudo Acute, Select and Plus back-to-back and pick the one that fits your daily commute.

Which cities can I book a Sokudo test ride in?

Sokudo has 50+ authorised showrooms across Delhi NCR, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Haryana, Uttarakhand and more. Use the showroom locator on this page to find the dealer closest to you.

What should I check during the test ride?

Focus on riding comfort, seat and footboard space, acceleration, braking and how easy the scooter is to handle at low speed. Ask the team about real-world range, charging time and the battery warranty.
